Community Service

Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The only gift is a portion of thyself.”

At The Bartlett School, we value community service and we believe it is never too early for children to learn to give generously of their time and heart. We empower children so they know their contributions make a difference.

We believe in developing integrity and cultivating human connections. Each class at The Bartlett School works on age-appropriate community service projects. Together, they effect change and see tangible results of their work. Our students learn how gratifying it is to practice acts of kindness. Our students begin to think constructively about ways in which they might addresses issues in their own communities. Our students become socially conscious thinkers.

At The Bartlett School, we demand excellence in the classroom. We also value the development of character, compassion, and honor. The Bartlett School develops the whole child with rigorous academics and a community service program that fosters the spirit of giving.

The Bartlett School students learn community service is not an obligation, but a privilege.
